Amiable, easy going, clearly highly experienced and put me at ease chatting away to distract me from the tests. Also explained all the steps and answered my questions.

We were referred from the Consultant and from the first moment we walked into my Husband’s appointment Dr Fowle completely put us at ease and explained exactly what was going to happen, as we weren’t really sure & we were worried about the outcome. After the test was completed Dr Fowle did everything he could to reassure us about the results & took his time to explain. We would definitely recommend him & I don’t think there is anything he could do to improve his service.

He took the time to speak to me on a personal level and was very friendly. During the test he explained what he was about to do and what the results meant at the time and possible outcomes that another cinsultant might discuss with me. I was quite upset at the results and he took the time to understand what was actually upsetting me and explain that there are other solutions to my issue.

Dr Fowle is a very empathic person and I felt very heard. He took time to understand my symptoms. I felt his examination was thorough and calm and I did not rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr Fowle

Profile

I see patients in several NHS and private hospitals.

I enjoy teaching, with patients or in tutorials. I am quite active in my specialty and I was President of the British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology for 3 years from 2017- but seeing patients remains the best part of the job.

From 2002 - 2018 I led West Surrey Clinical Neurophysiology at St Peter's Hospital, part of ASPH NHS Foundation Trust. I am proud of the team in neurophysiology that I left behind me. My NHS base is now at The Whittington Hospital in North London. I am Medical Director of Mediservices Healthcare, although I rarely see patients face to face in that capacity.

I trained as an undergraduate at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School and trained in clinical neurophysiology at Kings College Hospital, in one of the largest departments in the country.
